Some other hotkeys and difficulty setting hint solved [probably]

I recognized the game engine this was built in.
For those wanting to play in full screen, simply hit 『Alt+Enter』
For additional controller customization, hit the 『F1』 key. Take care to note that the custom controls are still somewhat limited, so if you are using a non-standard controller a joy2key middle program is still suggested for use here.

The notes section near the end of the manual will be very valuable in survival.
The sequence of 『no,yes, yes』 is referring specifically to the very beginning of your save file. This is tied i'm assuming to your selected difficulty. With the notes being the answers for a easy mode [and why its highly recommended to read them before starting the game]. Answers of 『yes,no,yes』being normal while the answers of 『yes,no,no』being that of a hard mode.

Thanks for adding that info for folks! And you are pretty close, the start questions are tied so a sort of difficulty level, though not to do with attacks or enemies. It affects the number of extra items that appear in the game, as extra help for the player (if  you check your storage box when you first get to a save room, there will either be 2, 1, or 0 extra food items which can be used to lower your fear).

Ah the way the questions were worded kinda sent me to believe it was difficulty in regard of attacks and enemies lol at least the assumption paid off a little~ And I am kinda glad that i was wrong here. A recent-ish trend of games like this tie events that are only viewable in higher difficulties. Its a weird thing to add in games of this nature.
There were some other interesting bits of information in the manual that kinda raised an eyebrow. Like the possible identity of the person asking the questions at the beginning of the game. Though i fear if my hunch is right, it's spoiler territory.  The animation for the game that came out last year kinda fuels that theory. [besides some contradictory things in regards to the Tentacle enemy]
If I find any more useful stuff I'll post it here [along with the fakku discord]
