You can earn cash from many sources. Raana is a dangerous, semi post-apocalyptic world, meaning money's scarce, so you might have to start out small by working at the assembly plant, playing cards and sell loot/fish at the market. Appointing your slaves to various job assignments is also a good way to get yourself a trickle of money. Picking a good combat build and go "Look for trouble" in Westside will also provide the winner with a good amount of cash, if you've gone through all the quests already.

You'll get a ton of new ways to make money after the coming updates: 0.6.5 (a week away) and especially the huge 0.7 release (in a month or two) that'll feature new city districts and other interesting stuff. As the current poll at our discord server currently points at, but that might change.

Regarding Piper. Are you having trouble picking her up despite offering Miss Devious 6000$? It's a bug. The latest update will fix that.
