Better Title For My Game

Hello,

A while ago I released my game "Can you beat the sqaure?" and it has a more or less constant viewnumber of 0-5 viewers per day. The CRT is really low (< 1%) and i am experimenting with trying to increase it. So i thought maybe the title of my game sucks. Any suggestions?

The game is a fast paced top down shooter where you have to fight against the same sqaure in  every level, but he has new attacks and mechanics in each level, so it gets progressively harder.

I played your game before and I really liked it! I think the title is fine (it immediately shows that this is something for people that like challenging game play).

Fortunately the title is without spelling error, unlike you state it in this thread (it's "square", not "sqaure"). However, in your subtitle for the game, the spelling error is still there: "Are you ready to beat the sqaure? Grab a friend and try it!"

I think it's those little things during a first impression that make it seem like a rushed release, that might make people skip over it. So, I would fix the spelling error. (Maybe also in other places, like your dev logs.)

But it's good that you have a GIF that shows the game play.

Other than that, it is what it is... You might attract more people with fancier graphics (e.g. the background).

EDIT: it also says "grab a friend and try it" - maybe emphasize that it can also be played in single player mode. This is another reason that people might skip over your game on their first impression.

Hey!

Thanks for the detailed answer! Gonna correct those errors and make clear that it can be played in singleplayer mode too.
