I came here expecting a fun and unique game but I mean it's like you took Yandere Simulator took it's early stages and took the primitive code and made a "game". The map, dialogue mechanics, and even just most features are just Yandere Simulator rip-offs. I legitimately can't even say I had a fun time playing because it was just so... boring. I might as well just play Yandere Simulator. I really hope this game IS actually going somewhere and actually becomes a unique game because if it doesn't soon I'm gonna have to notify the Yandere Simulator community about this.

Well I mean the things I'm implementing right now are pretty much just base mechanics, which are fairly similar to how yandere simulator was in it's early state since I'm sure the developer did the same thing. The game will grow to be more unique and I'm happy to tell you the game is actually being reworked right now. About the map I just like the layout of a 4 sided 3 story building, while this is similar to yandere simulator I tried my best to differenciate it. In general yes the game is similar to Yandere Simulator right now but once the rivals are added, the cutscenes, and just the story in general I'm sure your opinion will change, there is still so much more planned for Obsession! You are also free to notify the Yandere Simulator community, most of my player base is from there and I don't think very many people are going to have a problem with the game if they read this.
