when i open my shop i cant open the door its like locked but when its closed i can open it fine and i found away around this and i made someone a 2 handed axe and they wouldent take it the axe could be my fault but this is bothering me
I don't think any of your problem will still exist in version 0.0.9c - butttt.....
Just in case you don't plan to update or something similar is occurring
The door - Reloading seems to be the only way I've heard of it being "helped" I've never encountered it myself.
The Item - Reloading in 0.0.82 breaks items. So that's a catch.
Different material types in 0.0.82 also prevented items from being properly recognized when presented.
Examples.
A fully assembled item - the only one - a 2h axe for example. - Sells perfectly fine
A second fully assembled 2h axe, identical to the first is made to replace it, the only one - but then you save and come back later - It will not sell at all because of some oddity in the game logic - Take it to the anvil, and reassemble it to sell it. - However. I recommend simply keeping the Tool-head and grip/guard lying around just waiting to be finished. - This prevents all breaking of the item from occuring, as well as alleviates example two.
Example 2 - Different material types
If you have an Iron 2h axe, and a copper 2h axe, and are requested an Tin 2h axe - Even if you /just/ made the tin 2h axe - It will not be accepted.
The Iron or copper 2h axe will catch the customer's attention first, and they will be locked, focused on trying to accept and trying to reject one of those axes.
Both of them would need to be removed from near the customer in order to stop the logic loop, and allow the tin to be sold properly.
HOWEVER..... - If you do as I said earlier. and Keep only the tool heads ready nearby, and only the grips and/or grip/guard assembled - You will not face either example's issue - as they will not be assembled so they cannot break, and they will not be assembled, so they cannot distract a customer with the wrong type.
In 0.0.9c - the customer seems much more open to negotiation, in some orders.
For example they may only ask for a greathammer - allowing you to suddenly pawn a titanium greathammer on them (if you somehow had that just lying around...)
They may ask for a Tin Greathammer with a Large Warhammer head, uncommon (fancy/rare) grip - And you can just sell them a Tin Large hammer head with a common wood grip.... You won't get any bonuses... but you could... at least.. from what I've experienced.
and I don't think they get stuck on items that don't match their criteria.... but I haven't exactly seen a case come up where they might've....
