I honestly cannot believe you guys managed to do it within two weeks!

That's neat!

I wish to see more updates on this with better way of advancing in story without having to run it all over again.

Other than that, you guys rocked A LOT!

Thanks GS!
We're currently debating the direction to go next with it, if any at all. We for sure are going to redo that opening, and I want to spend some time refining the survival mechanics. We'll probably make a post at some point with a direction we're gonna go.

Thanks for replying, OS.

I really hope you guys continue working on this game and any other game with that kind of narrative/survival/mystery atmosphere. I can think of a lot of ideas if you ask me, but I'll leave that to you guys! Hahahahaha!

Cheers,

GS

Always willing to read thoughts! We've got a few ourselves, including fleshing out the building and survival mechanics a little more.

Yeah, that would be great!

But if you could add some sort of autosave, it would be awesome. I'm asking that because I was planning to do a full playthrough, but when I tried to skip the cutscenes, it bugged all the UI and the objectives tracker wasn't working properly anymore, so I gave up due to the limited time I have to record gameplays everyday.

But about the game itself, I think that the atmosphere is awesome. I think we could explore it more by adding some more danger, like wild animals (maybe a pole bear xD). Maybe at some part of the path the protagonist could face a risk that required a  quick action to escape.

This latest suggestion is because at some point, the walking through the snow and storm is a little tedious, as it is clear that nothing is going to happen and that we only need to walk as fast as possible to the next heating point.

I know this might be some suggestions that might be hard to implement, but it could maybe enhance the experience for the player even more.

Hope it makes sense. But please ask if you think I could give you more ideas. Always happy to help :)

There is a problem with adding bears in particular...

The word Arctic means Bears in Latin. The north pole is the Arctic or land of bears.

Antarctica literally means Land of No Bears.

There are no bears, or really any wildlife larger than a seal, in Antarctica

You're totally correct. Sorry about it. :D

It's cool! I just thought it was humorous, you're actually the fifth person to suggest it.

The other suggestions are good! Save-Load and Autosave are a feature I'm working on actively. It got cut at the last minute because of issues with loading into bad game states.

I think once we revamp the opening it'll fix a lot of the issues with nothing to do. We've cut it down by 3/4ths at this point.

That's amazing to hear!

Glad that you're paying that much of attention to what the "public" says about the game.
As we cannot have a bear, maybe if there would be some kind of risk other than simply the cold, it would enhance the experience A LOT. Such as, as I said before, problems with the path, having to avoid icy path that could break, something like that. Dunno, just sharing my lame thoughts :D

Anyways, looking forward for more updates on this! :D

Luckily! (Unluckily?!) There's very few of you, so we can afford to focus on your feedback!

No worries. It is not a matter of quantity, is always about the quality. On the game and on the opinions of the players. That's why I'm here to help. :)
