Which type of robot it is? Crude and Basic bots just need winding by left clicking on them. If it's a Steam bot you need to put wood fuel into it's inventory.
For crude bot, when it is power off and after winding it, the program doens't start alone. It need to be activated manually by clicking on the arrow on the bot window
