If you run into any major bugs or other issues, report them here and we'll look into them!

Feedback and issues are compiled on our public Trello board.

Oopsidoodles! My friend got pushed into the air by the geckos! He could walk over blocks and over lava. But after going into the elevator with him, his character stopped responding.  Gosh though it was funny.

Oh no, he somehow cheated death! That obviously shouldn't happen, but becomes a little more likely if the game is unable to maintain a good framerate (over 20fps) which can be a struggle on older computers in later levels. One thing to keep in mind is that any player can pause and "Drop Out", then press a button to rejoin if they are stuck somewhere.

My Switch Pro Controller isn't working with the game. Thumbsticks but none of the buttons have any interaction. I don't know if there is something I need to do for this to work.

I'm really sorry hamhead, but Switch Pro Controller is not a standard PC controller and thus it is untested & we don't officially support it.

Here's two things to try if you haven't already:

For best results try an XInput controller like the Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller. Please let me know how it goes! Thanks for playing.

Thank you for the suggestion. I found a lot of games I got through the BLM Bundle don't work with my Switch Pro controller and the XBox controller I have just broke. So I will be getting the adapter to enjoy all these new games. Thanks again!

No prob! Let me know how it turns out.

I somehow jumped over the barrier in level 4 without placing the jewel and then got stuck on the other side. It had already autosaved and there was no way for me to fix it so I had to delete my save file.

Oh no! I hope you kept a backup. There's an option to respawn in the pause menu.

Re-spawning just brought me back to the same side :/ but thankfully I was only on level 4

If it happens again & you're comfortable modifying a little JSON in plaintext, I can point you to where the save games are located.

Holding the left and right controller brings up a debug menu that kinda breaks the game.  What are the gems for?

Game crashes on attempt to boot. Just let me know where I should send the debug logs if you want them.

Super cute game, and very fun to explore. Some bugs I've encountered:

  1. If you get squashed at the right moment while mining, you can no longer mine until the game is restarted; the state machine for the character probably wasn't reset on respawn
  2. If you place a carryable object (claw, gem, statue) on top of a draggable object (table, fossil), then you cannot easily pick the carryable object up; you grab the draggable object too. You can abuse Right Trigger rotation mode to separate the objects.
  3. If the lift is filled as much as possible, taking it up to the lab will make fossils inside vanish, or the lift won't open. When the lift fails to open, the player is soft locked while the game waits for the lift doors to open.

My partner and I have managed to accidentally unlock all levels by button mashing on our xbox controllers. We were curious what would happen but didn't expect to come across a hidden cheat menu. We're a bit bummed out we didn't unlock the levels ourselves since we do enjoy the game! We reckon you didn't intend to leave that in, but it might be worth it to remove it in an update.
