I wasn't sure about this at first because I feel there are some tonal issues at certain moments and a few instances of shaky writing, but I ended up loving it. The characters can be a bit frustrating at times because their behavior sometimes seems heavy-handed or illogical, but ultimately this lends realism to the story, I think. The emotional component is by far the most powerful part of the game; the characters are lovable and their struggles, aspirations, and worries feel painfully real and endlessly sympathetic. I also loved Suzanne and Penny's relationship... it's so accurate and reflects similar experiences I've had in a fledgling lesbian relationship where one person is closeted, that crazy mix of anxieties and endless affection.

Anyways, I really enjoyed it, and despite the unfinished art and frequent typos it managed to feel like a full game; the story is definitely fully developed and I was really pleased by just how much happens.

I don't know if you're planning to continue work on My Sweet Daruma but I'd love to see it if you do!!
