I went into the hole in the stump and set Morton down without thinking and now he's unrecoverable (he disappeared and I had to right shift+home to reset myself).  Since I want to clear the area by finishing all the quests, is there any trick I could do to reset his quest, or do I have to reset my whole playthrough? 

same thing happedned to me now im wondering if i can complete the final quest still since i cant talk to him
