I'm sorry you're encountering that issue. Can you please tell me what OS you are playing on? If it is Android, I have seen some others with that bug but the Android version is unofficial.
My best suggestion is starting over to see if the bug occurs again. If it does, please let me know the steps you took to get to that point.
It's not etched in stone as far as when but probably sometime on or between V0.7 - V0.8 releases for some of them. Others will be later for timeline reasons.
