NFT Games - They All Suck!
I'm looking to create a blockchain integrated game that doesn't suck.
(Rather than a financial instrument disguised as a game)
I am looking to pay programmer(s) to help code a 2D pixel game inspired from games like "The Enchanted Cave 2, Stoneshard, and Pixel Dungeon." In addition to being a quality free to play, PLAY to EARN game, I am striving for implementation with metamask for the ability to withdraw in-game gold in exchange for Pulsechain or Harmony blockchain tokens, similar to that of a traditional crypto faucet. This puts the game first, with only minimal emphasis on the blockchain integration.
If you think you have the knowledge and skills to accomplish any of the following in one or more languages [Unity/Godot/GMS2/C#/C++], let me know:
Traditional Programming Challenges
- Ability to program smooth character interactions, movement, attacks, equipment, and abilities from provided art and animations
- Ability to program functioning in-game stores
- Ability to program a functioning bank with item and gold withdraw/deposit
- Ability to program randomly generated cave floors, monster spawns, and item spawns from provided art
- Ability to ensure the security of gold, stats, and general integrity of the game cannot be manipulated through a cheat engine or hacking, meaning a robust server side/backend that dismisses/ignores client side manipulation
- Ability to program a player marketplace similar to the grand exchange from runescape or the auction house from world of warcraft
- Ability to program real time daily interest for gold stored in the bank.
Blockchain Programming Challenges
- Ability to program in-game gold balance to be detected by the browser extension and crypto wallet metamask for deposits and withdrawals of various cryptos
