Using mods

This is a bit of a basic question, but could someone walk me through the process of using mods? I downloaded mods and extracted them to the folder I have strive conquest in, but when I run the game and click on mods from the menu, none of them appear. What step am I missing?

P.S., if you could also explain how that works for strive for power too, that would be great :)

You need to extract them in the good folder. Some files do need to be installed in the game folder sometimes.

For example here is my mod folder : C:\Users\Drago\AppData\Roaming\Strive for Power 2\mods

And here's for Strive for power : C:\Users\Drago\AppData\Roaming\Strive\mods

That’s interesting, I’ve always just kept strive saved in my downloads folder and extracted it to downloads too and it runs. I guess I should re extract the game to the folder you suggested, thanks!

It doesn't matter where you run the game, the appdata folders are created on the first startup of the game. There should even be a button in the mods menu, to open the folder where the mods needed to be extracted (each in their separate fodlers)

Edit: there isn't a button for the mods folder, it's for the portraits

Anyway, to get to the appdata, just type %appdata in your windows searchbar, then go to roaming and find the game. it should be created after the first start of the game

Thanks!
