why is this the only game of this kind (wordle, quordle, octordle) that does not save stats from day to day, or even in the same day to be able to go back and look at? it clears out like the game was never played. it's frustrating and hard to share/enjoy with friends in this format. if the others can do better, why can't you? this issue makes me not want to play this game. please fix this. so many people have expressed this same issue so why has nothing been done about it? why make a game at all if you aren't going to improve it to meet the desires of its users?

Developer(+2)

yeah you're right, i'm probably gonna delete it

(-1)

what?? You're going to delete the game because someone gave you a suggestion on how to improve the experience. The game is great, but YES... we want to be able to save our result to share and compare with friends. This would be A HUGE improvement. PLEASE add the feature to save our result!

Probably because he/she's not making any money off the endeavor and has to put up with entitled people like the original poster.

Developer(+1)

nope sorry nerdle is right time to off the whole thing

whatever....

Hey Zaratustra, I run some popular card game sites, and we're introducing word games. We had some ideas on collaboration. Is there a good way to get in touch, if you're open to hearing them?

there’s a pale male response if ever there was one: “you dare to suggest your puny idea to me? i shall smite thee! uhhh… now where’d i put that doomsday bomb? did i leave it in my hummer? quick before i weep piteously. someone spoke to me, mama! WHERE ARE YOU? i’m melting… melting…”

Sarcasm as a wakeup call? I hope...

Cause I love this game! Thank you!!!

If you're on Firefox, load dordle and then look at the shield icon that is just to the left of the address field. Click on that and turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection. This will only affect tracking protection this site. You could probably also make a third party cookie exception for this site but it's easier to simply disable the enhanced tracking protection.

Or, how about:

"Thanks so much for creating this game that I've obviously liked enough to play multiple times!  Happened to notice my stats weren't saving, any plans to update?  Appreciate the time you've put into providing us with this game either way."

Anyone who complains about a free game not getting extra features needs to ask themselves how they'd feel if they'd volunteered somewhere, or donated items or money, and someone came back and complained that it wasn't good enough, and why weren't they doing more?  r/choosingbeggars

Sorry, but this really frosts my cookies.

Are you seriously whining about a free game? Entitlement at its finest.

i'm sorry, i've never posted on a message board before, i didn't mean to be a jerk and i realize i could have worded my feedback differently. i was feeling frustrated but it's true a free game and i shouldn't complain. heard.

Appreciated! 👍👍👍

A person made a mistake, forgot how to engage constructively with actual people in public. Got critical feedback. And apologized with humility.

Appreciated! 👍👍👍

I’m glad it’s not just me I thought I was doing something wrong.  I am no techie but it looks like it’s in the process of being future proofed as the stat charts are there , fingers crossed

Well, nerdle69 has apologized, which is good to see. Now how about you Word man? Or maybe you wish to remain in the running for Tool of the Year.

You listed octordle, but octordle doesn't even save stats lol
