Writer looking for team

I have never participated in a game jam but would like to. I have created a few twine games but nothing on a large scale. I've also never worked alongside a team before. However, I am eager to find a group of people who would be willing to collaborate as well as help me understand the overall process.

Hello! I am making a visual novel dating sim game using renpy, and I think you'd make a great addition to our team! I need a co-writer as soon as possible, so if you are interested please let me know!!

Hi, your game sounds interesting. Could you give me a bit more information. What type of story are  you looking for?

It's an open ended game with tons of short conversations between the player and the character. It's a meta game where the character becomes self aware and restructures the entire game.  I need help with the conversations, as there are a ton of them. They're mostly random topics for the player and character to get to know each other better.

That sounds like a solid foundation. I'd be interested in helping out. How long are you wanting the gameplay to last?

Hopefully, for a very long time. If done correctly, the game will be infinite or at least 24 hours of gameplay. I've got about half the bases for half of the conversations done, I just need someone to write the other half while I edit the first half. We'd need to work very closely together on this project to make sure it sounds like the same character, and there's some other writing stuff as well.

It sounds like you have a pretty good grasp on what you're wanting. I wouldn't mind helping out. Do you have a sample of what it is your looking for? I just want to make sure our writing styles click. Like you said, the character needs to sound the same all the way through.

Thank you for your interest in my project! Unfortunately, we're no longer in need of a co-writer. My apologies for the inconvenience, and I wish you the best of luck in NaNoRenO!

No worries, good luck with your work!
