Do sacks, rucksacks and other kinds of bags/containers take up one of the 12 spots in your inventory?

Developer(+2)

We were not explicit in this ruling but much like non-protective clothing taking up 0 slots so do other minor items that you may be wearing like a bag

Personally I've house ruled that the first backpack etc. is how you get your 12 slots and a second bag would take up one of the slots as it's tucked in, but as always agree what would work best for your group.

I hope this helps!

Maybe I'm thinking about it too hard, but I'd still like to ask.
What about things like provisions, items you're wearing and money?

Do these thing all take up space in a player's inventory? Because I assumed since there were other spots on the sheet to write them down, they didn't take up any space.

I'm not MAC but I'll just give you a placeholder answer

The objectively correct answer will always be what you decide to be the most enjoyable for you and your group. The way I understood it however, is that the weapons slots is just a quick way to write down your options and the damage it does so you don't have to check the weapon damage sheet every time, while they do go to the inventory (but I've set it that you'll have a weapon outside of it, in your hand, sheath, wtv, that is of very easy access)

For provisions and money, I've set that it is not taken into consideration for the inventory slots, since they have their own places in the sheet + I just figure it would be in a different bag or wallet in the case of money.

All in all you're thinking a bit too hard, none of what I said is set in stone at all for you, but I hope this eased your mind a little about it haha.

And the same for weapons, they have their own spot, so I assume you only write them down once.
