so 1 time in December i downloaded this game and i loved it,but i had to delete it.

today i was watching eas historys and it came to my attention to downloading it again. but when i click open app (if the installation) avast came and screamed at me saying that it has a virus named idp.generic.

so who has contact with avast tell them about this issue.

thank you!

Hello Darrenfil! So sorry I haven’t gotten back to your message sooner. I am indeed aware of this issue, and in truth, we cannot fix it. However, you can indeed circumvent it.

What you can do is add an exclusion in Avast, to the EAS Simulator executable, (bin/app.exe) or disable the antivirus while you use it.

The reason for this false activation, is due to the game engine used, it unfortunately uses DLL files that get detected as malware, not really sure why, “idp.generic” seems like a pretty generic detection to me.

But, rest assured, as you already know, it’s harmless. You just need to disable your antivirus, or add it as an exclusion.

Thanks!

mmm dont trust you BUT I WILL DOWNLOAD i know i can just reset my computer

I would highly suggest looking into the popularity EAS Simulator has garnered, I believe that would justify the trust worthy nature.

However, that being said, EAS Simulator uses a DLL that was used in some malware, and the threat was never cleared, as the DLL itself is not a risk. This is why EAS Simulator is often detected as a virus.

I can assure you that it is 100% safe.
