Custom Home Mapper (Oculus Quest)

Build your own customized VR home and play multi-roomscale minigames! · By CuriousVR

I was very disappointed with the set up of the app, to the point where I felt you robbed me of 30 minutes of work.

The video show the room setting up its own game from your gaurden. Not you spending 5 minute making a second gaurden in the game for the gimmick to work. Actually have the game make it self around you with out any set up. Make the set up option or don't not show it. The games them self aren't that fun. I was very annoyed using this app and it should never be on the oculus store in this state. I've beta teased many game an had early accuse to the top seller the the oculus platform. This need worked on.

Everything just seemed simple in the video showed off. The game builds around your house and you start playing.

Make the magic real. This just makes me mad.

Hey, I understand what you are saying and I'm sorry you didn't get the experience you wanted :(

Much of the app is based around simple transformations and minigames, while the really detailed recreation of your home that I show in the promo take a lot more work to build in the builder cartridge. Yes it's complicated , buggy and has a difficult learning curve, far from the magic and automatic'ness that you are hoping for... I see now that the promo doesn't set the right expectation.

Generally things work best if you switch the guardian off completely.  Agreed it's a massive pain to draw multiple guardians, that's why I'm not releasing on applab to non dev mode people because the drawing is annoying when you can't just toggle it off.

Dude, you expected this app to just detect everything in your room and create all of the boundaries for you?  It even tells you how to set it up on the app page.  Not the dev's fault you don't want to read, or have poor reading comprehension..

This app is awesome, and the setup is not that difficult.  Maybe you should just stick to the Oculus store and avoid App Lab/Sidequest apps?  Doesn't seem like you're ready for these, yet.

Does it feel good commenting like you're on Reddit or Discord. I don't think I'm the special one here.
