I just finished today's Dordle and can confirm that the April 1st game didn't count towards streaks and statistics. So don't worry about having lost.
If that word 'only appears once' in my life I for one will be happy.
I liked it and I got it. ;) Didn't manage to play by "hard mode" rules, though.
I just want to say that I thought it was very clever. My sister agreed. I told a couple other friends to do it and they were not amused. I loved the self-referential nature of hapax.
What was the joke? I missed it.
the words were "hapax" and "prank." Hapax means something only ever said once
I know it didn't go over well with everyone in the moment, but I enjoyed the joke.
