Good Game

While 65 million years ago is a good game I think you can make some improvements,

1: Add some music, bosca ceoil is a great tool for music, it produces sounds that sound like  it is coming from an older game console such as the NES, it should work perfectly with your game.

2: The stun gun should have a lower recharge time. With all the dinosaurs around the stun gun is almost necessary, I have died many times plainly because I couldn't use the gun

3: This one is just a nitpick, but maybe improve the controls, instead of the arrow keys moving your character, make the W,A,S,D keys move the character, E should be used to pick up, and C to use the stun gun. This should make the game overall more comfortable to play.

This game definitely isn't perfect but it isn't bad either, you should just make some tweaks to the game to improve it.

Thanks for the suggestions Jace. I might work on this some more in the future, and if I do I'll definitely keep them in mind.

I had a lot of fun while playing this game with my wife. The art and climate reminds me Pegasus (or NES). I think you should definitely add some  controls for diagonal movement, because we played on a laptop and ran into a death trap many times because of not being able to walk diagonally.

As for the stun gun recharge rate, I don't really know if it's too slow. It gives lots of emotions when you know you can rely on it maybe once a day.

Which keys do roguelikes usually use for diagonal movement without a numpad? It's easy enough to add, but I wasn't sure what to bind to. And I'm glad you liked it btw.

No idea, this is the first time I played on a numpadless laptop.

In my game I used:

UIO

J    L

M,.

for movement keys for those who don't have numpads.

I updated the game to use both numpad and QWEASDZC for movement.

Cool, I'll check it out :)
