- Deepdwn 0.36.0
(snap package install.)

- Fedora 36, Gnome 42.1.

This issue happens when making a new directory or closing the program and saving. Might just be a font I don't have installed. If so I'd like to know which one to get.

Thanks for any help :]

This is how the file explorer looks like.

Wow, that doesn’t look great.

I don’t have a solution for you offhand. Does it happen with the appimage as well?

After some searching, I think the two fonts you may want are ttf-dejavu and noto-fonts-emoji

I have some good news and some bad news.

This problem only appears while using the snap version. Appimage works flawlessly. Apparently It is a known issue with snaps on *some distributions, that is pretty inconsistent when it comes to actually fixing the problem.

I don't know if you ever thought about using Flatpak for packaging the app. Although I dont know how hard or easy it is to work with that format.

*Mainly I saw Fedora and Arch Linux.

Thanks, I’m seeing similar results. Hopefully it’s fixed at some point, but I don’t think there’s much I’ll be able to do unfortunately :(

I’m considering adding flatpak, but probably not until after flathub finishes their store implementation so that Deepdwn could be added there (depending on restrictions and fees).

No worries, not a problem in your software. Can't really blame you. :)

Btw. I really like the software so far, probably one of the best looking markdown editors that I used.

Thanks very much, I’m glad you like it!
