Hi, itch.io and game developers!
Last summer I published 5 music packs in over 3 month, a feat I never thought was possible! And as of May 26, 2022, those 5 music packs were viewed over 1,216 times, totaling 308 downloads; with the Old Radio Music Pack [Free] being surprisingly popular. That amazes me, as last year was my first time publishing to online asset and music stores.
I will continue to create music and put assets on itch.io with the implementation of modeling what I have done with the In Good Weather [Piano Asset] by making assets inexpensive and agreeable. I want to support beginning game developers in this community that don’t have any financial means to buy expensive assets off of commercial publishing stores; ex. Unity Assets. I know how it feels, as I am a beginner in this entertainment industry as well.
Currently, I’m developing a PSX-style music pack, but I have no official release date or the estimated number of soundtracks/effects it will contain as I have been putting schooling and education first as a priority. I will be updating this newsletter when I know!
