Cavern Quest by Bransen Starkey

In Cavern Quest, you play as an adventurer who had found a scroll in their local tavern. This scroll had mentioned a talisman of unbelievable power, hidden away deep in the abandoned Dwarven Caverns of old. As you make your way to the location of this talisman, you notice that the would around you is changing, filled with a dark and evil magic. Malicious creatures attempt to stop you, as your focus shifts from retrieving a treasure, to uncovering a dangerous mystery.

I'd love any comments or feedback regarding the game, but please remember it is a work in progress, a lot of features have not yet been added.

idk if this is a bug or not but i cant move or skip the second dialogue thingy

I apologize for the bug, I took a look at what could have caused the issue and did my best to fix it. Appreciate the feedback!

ok I figured out I had to press left shift to continue the game lol. could you make text that says click "left-shift" to exit and click space to skip? i feel like it would help a lot of newer players.

for the main menu, I feel like the purple color is a little bit annoying to look at and white text would suit the main menu better. It would be nice if I could change the keybinds and stuff like that.

it was cool that you used a different layer for the trees and the background foliage btw

last thing, the platforms are annoying sometimes cause I jump on the edge of them and slip off

Thanks for the input Fizzy07, I really appreciate you taking the time to play my game and give me feedback! I will definitely look at making the game a bit more beginner friendly, and I'm still tweaking the players hitbox for platforms so I'll focus more attention on fixing that. I definitely would like to add custom keybinds to the menu, but ill definitely have go look into how to do that. Thanks for the video though, ill be sure to check it out!
