Tip: How to avoid those pesky encounters.

My experience playing LonaRPG is a good one, but the only part I didn't like was that every single time I decided to move anywhere on the map I was accosted by some total pricks. You know 'em, you hate 'em, let me introduce the Bandits and the Orkind.

These merry bands of rapists attacked me every time I wanted to go anywhere, turning  less than a minute journeys into painful chores which almost always left poor Lona with some form of injury, forcing me to have to inevitably fix it with my precious resources.

I really dislike these events because of what feels like a damn 100% chance of encountering something while on any length of trips. I don't know if I just have terrible luck, but I always encounter them, enough so that I decided to figure out how to deal with these pricks quickly and efficiently, and eventually through rigorous experimentation and genius behind the wheel, I came out with one perfect solution.

This one simple trick will solve all of your travelling problems. This one trick has saved me from so much annoyance that it deserves it's own place in the game as a quote.

"Just run away."

Yeah, yeah, all that build-up for this sounds like a bad joke, but I'm being dead serious right now, the best, absolute best way to deal with them is to just hold shift, move to a border zone, and then press [Leave]. The enemies who attacked you will not pursue you because while you did run away like an incredibly cowardly wise adventurer, they had their little encounter now, they have lost their "Kick your ass" ticket and now disappear into the ether of wherever off-screen NPC's go for all eternity. At least until you encounter the next batch of idiots wanting a piece of your hide, but remember, "First you say no, then you get outta there." - Sonic the Hedgehog

Still overall annoying either way.

Though this won't quite work in infestation forests/mountains at night or if you fall in an infestation hole. Without at least like 20 scoutcraft you can't see shit and the paths out are winding, all while little bugs are stunning/injuring you.

I don't really go in the mountains/forests because I'm a chicken. I'd rather go on the paths which has less risk and also is faster because I won't get approached by The Orkind gang every two steps. Also my ocd says "Stay in the dead center of the path and use as little movement squares as possible" because my brain keeps telling me the movement is like in chess. when it's not.
