Every time the game updates i have to manually move the saves over, it only happens with this game and none of the other renpy games i play.

They use a diffrent os method, i cant tell you this 100% certainly. But im preety sure changing the os requires you to remake the entire save system. And changing the save system means you have to modify the game preety heavily
