Does this work in iClone 8?

Currently no. There are some limitations in iclone 8 that need to be fixed by Reallusion first. But they have released some alternatives in the latest update that I am testing.

I just updated it. Music Move now works in iclone 8 (from 8.02)

How do I get the update? I just bought it. Do I return it and buy the more expensive version?

I saw you updated my Reallusion login account with a new version of MusicMove. I downloaded it and moved the MusicMove directory from from your ZIP file into the C:\Program Files\Reallusion\iClone 8\Bin64\OpenPlugin direcory and started iClone 8 in ADMIN mode and it installed Python and I rebooted and started iCone in ADMIN mode again and it expanded all you files then I restarted iClone 8 again in normal non admin mode and the iClone splash screen came up and stayed there forever (30 minutes). I had to kill the process. I went into the OpnPugin directory again and deleted Music Move and restarted Music Move again and it started OK. I think you still have bugs in the startup of iClone.
