I'm excited for Future Reality, Agent 64, Blast Cats, and Paranormal Detective.

These games are just wonderful to look at.

These games look so fun! Can't wait to play em!

You guys really just keep smacking it out of the park.  The aesthetic is still perfect.

I am stuck on the section where you obtain a quarter.  I have no idea where I am supposed to put it.  I also want to unlock more games so I definitely could use some assistance.

ive only played one game out of this collection and I'm already shocked by the quality and passion this whole thing has
i feel like by the time I'm gonna be done with all of the games here a sequel to this collection is gonna be out! congrats to all the devs <2

I hate to admit it, but I am COMPLETLEY stumped by your hubworld.
I have played the three demos that are available at the start.
I have found the bolt cutters and gotten access to the hallway.

I have found the wrench. I ave found two quarters. I jave been to the bathroom and the basement and cannot do anything more in etiher.

And I cannot, for the life of me, find a single other item or any single place where I can use any of these things aside from the chains I cut to get to the hallway in the first place. I have scoured every pixel for the better part of half an hour, and I am no wiser than I was before. PLEASE write out a guide somewhere, or make something a bit more clear. I have absolutely zero idea how to access the rest of the demos legitimately - I wanna experience your hubworld. I just see absolutely no way I can.

https://pastebin.com/rBpBRCyp in lieu of spoiler tags heres the sequence from where you are, until the next big section.

Thank you very much - I tried to do just that several times thinking that had to be it, but I somehow seem to have never gotten the prompt and just assumed I was wrong. Appreciate the help!

so exited to make a video on this!

standouts: Nowhere MI, Blast Cats, Gob, Beeknighted

great: Spectral Mall, Future Reality, 10 Dead Doves, BÅÅBÖSÅÅNGJÅÅR

good: Dead Letter Dept, Perlin Festival, Enchain, Northstar Courier, Fear the Spotlight, Sauna 2000

okay: Sorry We're Open, Mothered, House of Necrosis, Mortal Meal, Arcade Woah

meh: They Speak from the Abyss, Miracle Bug and the Electric Limbo

presentation is on point from top to bottom even if I didn't love every demo, also the music is fantastic with lots of DnB / IDM and wonked out hip hop beats, makes a lot of the demos feel connected beyond their visuals and themes. Will be checking out the other Haunted PS1 collections after playing this one for sure.

Does the metagame have an ending or a conclusion? I'm pretty sure I've gotten all the tools and played all the demos.

short and sweet comments:

I like being able to explore the overworld but think this iteration is not the best. Spent too much time backtracking/walking back and forth to do what felt like a slog of a fetch quest. Didn't feel like anything was a puzzle of sorts and the movement speed didn't help. Love the aesthetic of the mall...just not the execution.

Conversely, the museum secret from last years was way less work and actually had the embodiment of spoopiness that I felt this one lacked. I still think about how good the hidden hotel simulation thing was and the PC stuff. This year's not so much.

lastly...on the game side, the move away from the game jam is both a blessing and small curse. I've only played a few so far but I find the games much more engaging, rewarding, and cohesive... HOWEVER I do occasionally miss the random loose art project feel at times from past years.

P.s. I'm still mad that ECHOSTASIS appears like it's a dead project...such a good one

dude is still working on Echostasis. Posts updates on Twitter occasionally. Been waiting myself ever since I discovered Enigma Machine.

Do you guys have a name and/or any art for the big spooky boi(?) in the mall? I'd love to see more of them!
