Make sure to turn on Sync Monitor FPS in the options to ON! I couldn't figure out what was going on at first but monitor FPS seems to be the issue.

Due to it being an RPG Maker game, it doesn’t take much to run it on more powerful pcs so I’m not surprised if the FPS became exponential, but yes, turning on Sync Monitor FPS helps because it will limit the FPS to 60 max.
