Optimization talk

Ok, to start things off, the game runs worse than the previous version.(like much worse, previous version i had the setting for the most part on normal, and few of them on low, this time everything was on low, and the framerate was even lower than on previous version in open world, in the crypt the framerate was completely fine the last time)

I don't want to seem offensive or anything, but i believe that raising the system requirements right now is the best choice. Cause with those requirements, you can't run this game in anything that's not gallery on above 10 fps. Until it's properly optimized, the requirements should be raised so that people's pc's don't get bricked, cause that is a legit concern.

also tutorial fight should explain the basics of swordfighting (i forgot those, so i experienced the full frustration of not knowing how to block, and count the 5-10fps along with it and you get an "experience"), i remembered them after i lost the tutorial fight.(yeah i know, a true IGN moment, but... try winning a it without knowledge of basics and at 5-10fps)

On a slightly positive note start of the game definitely seems better, the sir whatever his name was intro was horrible, but this one also just starts with swords clashing, you should give some kind of exposition about the world and characters first, otherwise it just feels way too sudden. Still, a big improvement nonetheless.

I'm gonna wait for next version and have hope that i will be able to playtest it then. Cause god knows i'm not trying this version again, this was the worst experience i've ever had when it comes to games. i could see improvements, but i had no opportunity to appreciate them cause of nonexistent framerate.

My god, you're right in the sense that I just noticed that we put core i5 as the requirement instead of at least a core i7 and a gtx970... I'll edit the post.

About the feedback related to the story, thank you!

Now there is one thing that might make you feel that the game runs worse than before: Before, the game started in a dungeon that required A LOT less of a powerful machine to run smoothly. But then people would reach the open world and crash. So basically, what happens is that we are now in a middle ground. And once we are done with the level streaming settings and LOD, it might be closer to the dungeon performance even in the open world. But again, you are right on the fact that we must change the minimum requirements, so it's not misleading.

I noticed a memory leak, for a couple of minutes at the very beginning of the game after sparring all my 32GB DDR are packed to capacity.
