so i killed the weird lake lady and got her heart right and then i wen't up there to the scientist to give her the heart so i can get my laser eyes..but then when i go up there to get the laser eyes she keeps saying ''glad your back go set the heart down on the table''? also rob or bobs shop doesn't work 

EDIT: Fixed just restarted and got back to where I was. The problem was that I died on the way back to Deep Town and that meant I had lost my inventory but the Lake Lady had already died so there was no second chance.
