I remember when the update mentioned "less ram required to play" whatever it was, but idk after testing the game it seems a bit more laggier and slower than the previous version, my Android phone CAN handle it as seen from when i played the previous version and there's barely any lag or crash happening.

Maybe since the update is very new it still needs some more fixing and smoothing, i was excited at first but kinda disappointed afterwards, but there's hope, so im gonna wait till the dev fixed it, peace.

Game requiring less ram will not make it smoother, it will make it work on phones with less of ram. Game is expanding and will become more demanding, so your phone might just not be fast enough. Although I'm quite certain this is just tied to your particular configuration as many parts of the game were significantly optimised.
