QTE Difficulty

I've failed all but 3 key presses out of attempting QTEs for over an hour. The bars will be in the middle of the 2nd zones from the perfect zones in the center, but when I press the key it seems to jump back 2 bars to Fail. It seems the only way to get Good is have it right on the 2nd to last tentacle line instead of just in the 2nd to last zone. I'm not sure if that's intentional becasue I'm red-green colorblind, and at the current animation speed I can't tell the difference in the colors. I can tell the red at the ends is red, and the rest all look the same green to me, but that just means I can't visually tell if the colors different. I've figured out the rights spot just by location, but I can't seem to hit it at the right time anyway.

It's not for a lack of gaming skill or practice; I can tap the Shift key in-sync for several minutes, but switching to Enter right above it will get Bad. I've even had a few times where for the moment the bar pauses when displaying the result the bar was full green as if it were Perfect while it said Bad. I've gotten a few Good on the gangbang H-Scene only if it's right after selecting Resist, and the one Perfect was seemingly by chance. I can't do it consistently enough to succeed a tentacle vore.

I am so sorry for the bad experience you encountered.

Yet, you can craft a sachet at moldy lake, it automatically skip all QTE once activated.

Thanks for the tip! Sorry if I was harsh, I was getting a bit *frustrated*. At the very least I did a lot of level *grinding*.  [wink-wink, nudge-nudge]

I'm guessing part of the problem is just RPG Maker engine not handling some stuff well. Would appreciate keeping colorblind people - and whatever weirdness is going on with it giving Bad at a full QTE bar - in mind in the future. I have the day off so I'm looking foward to getting further, and I'll keep an eye out for your next project.

So I got leveled up enough to beat the guard captain and I think I figured out why the QTE meter is so fast. When I beat her by reducing her health to zero the bar was much slower than when I beat her by removing her clothes with a few lucky Goods on dodging her attack (which mercifully did not care that I got Bad on the QTE 80% of the time). It looks like if the enemy has health remaining the QTE event is harder, meaning QTEs are harder on grunts and bosses if you go the sexy route than if you just attack a boss down to zero health.

I did a little testing and it seems like changing the battle animation speed messes up the QTEs. Set the battle animations back to normal speed and they become MUCH easier.

THANK YOU! I didn't even think to check that becasue I tested the QTEs in the memory room and they ran at normal speed in those battles, so I assumed it was just an RPG Maker engine quirk or a bug with the scripting.
