I have this game for the Switch, and it's pretty fun. My biggest criticism is that it needs more polish. Things like, when you get sent back to the menu after beating a level, it puts the 'book' (level selection) back at page 1 and you have to scroll all the way through it. Or the way that the music just abruptly stops when you beat a level instead of fading out, which is very jarring. These little bits of polish wouldn't take much effort but would go a long way. That aside, the gameplay itself is VERY fun. It's mostly just solving small bite-sized puzzles but they're very fun. I understand that what they were going for here is a sort of grab-bag of nostalgic N64 ideas. Like, the majority of the game plays like Banjo Kazooie, but then there's one level that plays as a 2D platforming level (much like Kirby 64), one level that throws you into a car autorunner segment out of nowhere, and one level that's just straight up a race in Mario Kart. Something like this could come across as very sloppy, and while I still think it could use a little more rhyme/reason, it's still decently well executed here, and not too offputting. Ultimately, this game is well worth the price, and if it were a bit more polished and a lot longer / more expanded upon, it could be something very very special, I think, and I hope Siactro will consider creating a longer, more fleshed out game in the future.
