Hello to all the talented artists of Itch! I'm a developer and writer, working to create a visual novel + adventure game. I can cover a lot of different aspects of the game, but decided I need a genuine artist who can dedicate more mental resources to that side of the project.
The visual vibe is based on certain 90's-00's MTV, Adult Swim or Comedy Central cartoons - Daria, Beavis and Butthead, Dr. Katz, Home Movies etc. They're a bit rough around the edges and sometimes look pretty gross or gnarly.
On payment: I'm doing this project on my own time and a shoestring budget from my own salary (AKA pays the rent), but I certainly don't expect somebody else to do the same. We can discuss your normal rates and see if we can come to some sort of agreement, whether that's a higher amount of profit split or occasional payment milestones (I do intend to make this multiplatform via Unity).
In the end I just want to nail a good consistent style and make this experience something that people will enjoy. You can reply here or via Discord with some examples. Thank you for reading!
