I have 4 wins in this game right now and fought 15 out of 20 different bosses:

BossArmy and abilityStrategy
Elven Kinga lot of Elfs with increased rangeClose the distance early so the Elfs can't shoot you. Trade off slow units before the fight.
The NestGiant Snails and plantsPlants poison you so make sure not to let the fight drag out. Keep a ranged unit alive to shoot the plants from afar after finishing off the snails.
Artemisa lot of beasts with increased hp-
Gigantomachyseveral giants and cyclops and titans, forgot the ability-
Dragon Masterseveral dragons, forgot the ability-
Draculaa big unit with several vampires-
Necromancer SiegeUndead army with Plagueif you bring Undead army Plague won't matter
Hades???
SuleimanGenies and GolemsGenies have magic damage and Golems are immune to magic. Never figured out how to abuse it.
Abandoned Mine???
Scorpion Kinga big unit with a lot of insects and bonus damageThe most dangerous units are the ones with highest numbers because of bonus damage. Reduce their numbers first.
Gremlin FactoryGremlins and Mechanical unitsBallista and Catapult don't retaliate so attack them quickly
Ctulhua very big unit with some ranged friends. Ctulhu deactivates skip turn skills and deals more damage to higher hp units (Maddening)If you have units with skip turn skills, trade them off before the fight. Also try to trade very high hp units for lower hp units.
Beelzebubtwo very big units and some demon garbage, forgot the ability-
Ragnarokthree very big units and a lot of giants. Casts Armageddon that makes all units burn for 3 hp.Using low hp units is bad because of Armageddon. Trade them for higher hp units.

Have you seen other bosses? Help me complete this table.

I found two tricks to fight with big bosses:

  1. Get a Reaper. Reaper causes Plague on the opponent and removes 33% of it's hp.
  2. Get Gelatinous Cubes. They have the same Maddening effect as Ctulhu and deal 500% additional damage to big opponents so a lot of damage.

Also an advice on relics. In early game you want to prioritize relics that summon units after every fight. Things like Magic Lamp, Necronomicon, Demonologist, Forest Dryad are all good. If you have one of them then always take Summoner. I also took Mighty Anvil every time I saw it and had a lot of bonus damage from it.

These are great tips! One thing I wanted to call out is that Summoner won't work with Necromancer/Necronomicon (raising dead doesn't count as summoning), but the rest is spot on!
