Unfortunately my video driver can't be updated and I can't really afford getting a manually upgrade anytime soon. Would it be possible to have support for earlier versions? The game is amazing but I can't imagine why it doesn't work with my driver.

I've seen this one before in a game I'm developing. You need to drop an extra file into the folder, opengl32.dll, from a site with a good reputation (to avoid viruses). Make sure it is one compatible with your specific system. You might experience some hit to your fps though. I'm afraid there are no other workarounds. :(

That trick does not work. Only thing I can hope for is a patch that makes it playable.
