Adding finishers to the game

I feel like implementing finishers unique to each character would make the end of each match feel and look better as opposed to flying off into the distance or whacking the last sliver of the opponent’s health with a normal attack. This could be done through the grab move. If the player uses a grab and successfully grabs the opponent and the grab would result in finishing the rest of the opponent’s health left, instead of having to choose either throwing them left, right, or down, there would be a fourth option to perform a finisher. Finishers can only appear as an option if the opponent cannot dodge or deflect the finisher if it were to be used. Having it so that finishers can only be done by grabbing the opponent makes it so that not every game would end with a finisher, forcing the players to strategise whether they want to close the distance to be able to complete a finisher or do something else. This is just an idea that I thought of and wanted to share to you (Ivy) & the community. I really enjoy this game and can’t wait to get it on steam and see the upcoming features & updates and new gameplay!
