Yeah just dropping an idea that has probably has already been considered. Doesn't need to be done right now though, focus on making the base game awesome is awesome.

Oh, maybe some kind of ball minigame ? Players hit a physics ball (or the opponent) and try to score goals or smth

Imagine 2 ninjas doing 9 quick slashes at the opponent each, on both sides after finishing off one of the opponents - that would be so cool

I feel like, on top of that mode, a tag mode (when they have enough characters to support it) would be sick too. Just makes sense because of the heavy fighting game inspiration.
