It's so hard to fight against him because we will get hit everytime that cowboy uses his gun

and people always uses the cowboy

honestly adding temporal shot was such a terrible idea, now all cowboy has to do is build enough super to spam it because it cant be parried. it isn't fun and ruins the replay with a lame ending.

free cancels are very important when fighting cowboy.

it's a good idea cuz my super meter wasn't being used much

also you can block the bullets lol

(+1)(-4)

no u can't

(-1)

and it get worst when you don't need to choose where you want to shoot because it will always hit you

(+1)

Yes you can, stop insisting and actually try. You probably got hit by something else before or just misstimed it (u need to input block just a bit before it activates)

(+1)

dude i have several replays where i perfect block bullets

(+1)

you can I've done its so easy to counter the bullets like I have a clip of some guy parrying 4 bullets in a row

(+2)

u can parry it, wtf are u smoking lol

(+1)

because of how the game handles pausing, more often than not your only option is to block and soak some damage no matter how perfectly you time it, otherwise you just get shot because the prediction and frame timings are off.

Honestly, Cowboy is a pretty weird mix, because when you think about it, why does a cowboy have  teleport and a katana? Teleport is pretty op already and the moveset for katana is actually busted.  Cowboy can be beaten with some ease if you know what you're doing with wizard.

if you know what you're doing with cowboy tho you're just unstoppable

Cowboy in some ways is super strong and in other ways cripplingly weak. He's just weird. But I can see why he's considered the most effective. He's probably the most consistent, reliable, and, at the risk of sounding like I'm trying to offend cowboy players, easy.

Easy consistent characters are almost always considered top tier, even if their potential isn't as great as other characters. This is how it works in every game. In shooters, the most consistent weapon is almost always the best for example.

Every "easy" character is considered top tier for a while after a game's release. But they typically drop after everyone learns how to play the game.

Take Ike in smash ultimate for example, he was considered top tier for roughly half a year but now he's barely high tier (still a decent placement). He didn't even receive any nerfs but as ppl learnt the game it was getting easier to deal with him.

(1 edit)

Ike is no longer considered top tier because he is outclassed by the stronger of the swordies (Aegis/Cloud/Roy), some of his tools are not considered as valuable as before (Nair out of shield), and his weaknesses are more exploitable to the top tiers (shit disadvantage).

No reason to continue playing a character when another character has the same gameplan but is simply better after all.

me when i get combod to half health by the cowboy knocking me into the air and then pressing one button 6 times because it magically removed my block button
