Yeah so as you know i downloaded this game through itch.io and after extracting the zip file started the game, everything  looks fine except after the apple loading screen the game just doesn't start it's just a black screen with my mouse cursor visible but no sound or anything displayed on screen after waiting for some time it just forces closes on it own and yes i did try it more than once but no luck, Please fix it as soon as you can.

Same experience here, I have reason to believe (due to the display server jamming up) that the game Might be leaking memory like no tomorrow? 

Either way, the game crashes, though the error message doesn't exist long enough for me to check it out. For more information, I'm running Windows x86_64 under a Japanese Locale.

Thought the same happened to me but after a minute or two, the main menu appeared for some reason-

same thing here. It loads up the main title, the content and affiliation warnings and the apple loading screen loads up fully in a second but then it goes black. kept it open for about 25min and it was still black screen, cursor visible and moveable but reacts to nothing, randomly for 2-3 seconds turning into the loading cursors . no sound and unable to shut it down normally or exit thru windows button. had to  force shut it down with f4 + alt. Gonna try the low specs version now to see if it will happen there too.

EDIT: low spec version seems to be working just fine! try to download that one if the normal one isnt working for you i guess until this problem is fixed

EDIT 2: the lowspecs at least for me works right up until the main character gets on the train, then its shuts down again. weird

yeah me too, does anybody know if it's fixed or if it will be fixed? Not even the Low spec seems to be working for me, nothing loads, after the apple loading screen it just boots me out.
