I have Tourette Syndrome, it causes me to have uncontrollable vocal and physical tics. So I decided to create this Tourette's Simulator.
You play as a person with Tourette's, and the goal is to simply go for a walk. But your character will tic at random intervals. If you walk too close to people you risk accidentally kicking them, elbowing them, or getting into other mishaps which cause a game over.
The frustration of losing the game due to not being fully in control of your character mirrors how it feels for somebody with Tourette Syndrome to be inconvenienced by their real-life tics.
The game has been designed as a light hearted interactive way to spread awareness and understanding of Tourette's. It is playable in your PC web browser now.
