so hitting an opponent with upward slash now sends you flying upwards while they stay on the ground. a huge part of cowboy for me was aerial combos using your great air options; yknow, doing the thing where a swordsman was teleporting around someone midair slashing them. it was one of my favourite parts of the character! but now its actually completely impossible to do anything that isnt just basic grounded combos, and thats It, and i dont understand why

grab used to throw someone far away, or bounced someone off a wall, but now you just. drop them to either side. the distance is so tiny you can actually combo grab into grab, i did it 8x in a row when playing with a friend before hitstun reduc eventually let them recover

wizard can hitstun you for 7-8 attacks without needing meter bc you stay completely put when youre hit instead of being knocked away like you did before the most recent patch. just needs to weave basic bolts into the big windup spells like summon storm or deadly grasp and theres nothing you can do other than bursting

am i missing something?? whats going on?? its like theres a new knockback modifier or something thats defaulting to 0 or something, im really confused. its kind of ruining the game for me right now

apparently its bc i play with DI disabled and that breaks things. if anyone else was in the same boat as me thats the fix

For god's sake man, don't play with DI off lmfao.

i just wanted to play with my friends who dont know what DI is! and i was cursed with infinite grab combos instead

there are infinite TODs if u just disable DI lmao. Just explain briefly what it is, it's not that complex of a concept

It's a key game mechanic you are doing more harm than good.
