Am I the only one who believes their should be more getup options? You finally get out of a combo and hit the ground. And your getup options are standard, roll left or roll right. If the enemy is nearby where your downed, they get yet another chance to read and potentially combo you yet again. I noticed this being very prevalent in Ninja vs Wizard. Even if you had to use meter to do some of the special getup options, I think it may help the person who Just lost a trade and got combed reach neutral again.

imo, a getup attack (a simple. fast, intangible, but quite negative on block/whiff, low to the ground attack hitting both sides) would help solve the issue by preventing the opponent to stay flush to you to get reads

Honestly? Yeah tbh. Or maybe when you have meter you can do special moves with melee hitboxes with slightly more invincibility if you spend a bar as a getup option. Like a "reversal".
