I was planning to use this as a way to edit the README.md for a project I'm working on but when I open the folder in Deepdwn it shows mostly readme files from the node_modules folder. I'd love a way to right click and just hit "ignore" on certain subfolders or just a way to make it ignore subfolders altogether for this specific folder.

That’s a good idea, especially for node_modules. I’ll see about changing that in the future

Support for both ignoring specific folders and folder patterns was added in v0.39
