Better Rule Tiles for Unity

[Question][HELP] Multiple middle portions that repeat in a specific way

Hi, I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting here. I have a question about multiple middle tiles. I've tried this with Rule Tile, but I couldn't get the desired effect, so I bought Better Rule Tile hoping that it can do what I needed; however, I can't figure out if what I want to do is possible.

So, for context, this is what I'd like to do: I have tile sets that have the usual pieces, but all my tilesets have multiple middle pieces that I'd like to repeat in a particular order every time I draw with the brush tool. However, I don't know exactly how to set up the rules for something like this. Here's an example of one of the most basic tiles I have: The image is from a standard Rule Tile.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.

Hey! Thanks for purchasing the package!

If I understand correctly what you're saying. You want something similat that's in this gif:

It basically takes a bigger grid of sprites, and based on the coordinate it repeats that pattern, you can look at the code here: https://github.com/Vinark117/Tutorials/blob/main/CustomScriptedTiles/VariableTil...

This example is not a rule tile, but it wouldn't take long to implement it with the rule tiles. If you can wait a few days I can add the feature, so you could use it with the editor.

If you have any other requests feel free to post it.

Yes, I'd like to be able to add more than 1 mid tile horizontally/vertically because my tilesets are much more complex. And I appreciate you taking the time to reply so quickly and also offer to add the feature. I would really appreciate it if it could become a feature request as I'm not very tech-savvy when it comes to code.

Hello! I'm happy to notify you that I added the feature you requested!

I haven't updated the documentation yet, but you can find the post about the new update here, which briefly explains how to get it going. If you have any questions or need help don't hesitate to post it here on itch, or you could also join my discord where I get notifications much sooner, and I can respond faster (if my time allows it).

I hope you can get the most out of the new feature.

thank you so much for taking the time to do this.  I'll have a look at it first thing tomorrow morning. Have a wonderful day ahead.
