My thoughts about this game

It is a game which focuses less on arbitrary numbers and following strict rules, and focuses more on creating a compelling and interesting narrative - often against the expectations of the players or even the GM (in a good way!).
This makes it unpredictable and really fun to play. What shines in it the most is the fact that you spend very little time creating a character, rolling dice, figuring out the numbers and micromanaging and min-maxing/optimizing your character/gameplay, and you spend more time actually playing the game and creating a story.

I'm not saying the system is without flaws, but it is definitely in tune with the spirit of Disco Elysium. The project is still being updated and is pretty much a work in progress, so if you feel something is lacking or missing, the creator is very open-minded about considering some other players' ideas.
