I keep trying to disable all scales but as a debug player I still get them but don't want to how can I get rid of them for good as a debug player 

At the very beginning before you even start the game, there is a area where you can ban the tags of 'scaley'. But since you said you were a debug player, you can do; 

settings -> Set Content Filter -> then click Scaley as something you wanna ban from the game/see
