Is there any way to not email my subscribers when posting assets to itch?

I have 260 followers and has been going down since I started posting a lot of assets. I'd prefer not to email my subscribers for every asset release but I can't find any options for this. Is there any way to have an asset on my main page without emailing people about it?

I don't really  think so. I will check

You can go and delete your activity manually from the feed, but a better option would be to stop spamming asset packs. Did you really make all that?

I don't feel as though I'm spamming asset packs, in fact, the main reason I posted this question is because I want to avoid spamming as I believe sending to many emails to my subscribers is the reason I'm losing them. I would be happy to not have my assets show in the most recent area on the stores page as well as to not send emails but I don't think that's an option, would deleting the activity manually stop the emails from being sent?? That would be wonderful. And Yes, it I've spent many hours making and posting assets, I do them in individual packs because it's easier to do a little bit and post it than to work on a big asset pack and also I'm not sure if my assets will always be free, doing them in volumes leaves the door open in the future to switch to a $1 model for my assets.

I'm asking because I saw you mentioning Midjourney in a post, and you have a huge list of project pages. Please make sure you follow the quality guidelines, in particular the rules about misleading content and reskins.

As for e-mails, there's no guarantee, but if you delete your own activity from the feed it might cut down on them.

You are indeed spamming projects. I do not get the reason to have 4+ projects for every item.

If this is about mails sent because of the notification settings, you cant deactivate those, the subscribers have to do that in their settings. Unless you find a way to publish things without getting on the feed. If there is a timeframe till the mails get sent, deleting the activity might work.

But seriously, what you ask is pointless. People subscribe and have active mail setting precisly to get info about new stuff from people they follow. And if they follow you, but notice that you release the same thing over and over , they might reconsider following you.

People like you are the reason other people want  to filter out AI stuff or certain publishes from browse. There are several threads about that. You basically release a project every day. Not only are you spamming your followers with notifications, you are spamming the new  section in browse.

I do them in individual packs because it’s easier to do a little bit and post it than to work on a big asset pack

What I think you should do is create a single asset pack and post subsequent content updates to it, rather than creating entirely new asset packs for the exact same thing.

You have around 8 volumes of over 13 differents assets. Each volume of an asset you registered as a project in itch.io, so you easily have over 104 projects, it's no wonder this will spam all of your followers.

I don't see a point of uploading small packs of assets (except in a very specific scenarios) specially as different projects. I suggest you group them in 5 or 6 projects at maximum and keep your updates in each project, you can still do smaller updates as devlogs, nevertheless you should consider uploading in bigger packs after all I guess you only want to inform your followers about new updates if they are meaningful in the eyes of your followers, i.e., as a follower I would be interested in knowing about a release of a big pack of several assets, but I'd consider spam if you notice me about a release of a 1/8th of a pack of a single type of asset.
