So I am currently using a laptop to play the game download it played it for a little bit and decided to continue tomorrow but once I re-open my laptop all of my save slots are gone am I the only one who has been experiencing this? Or am I just dumb and don’t know how this work?

well i had this problem once i deleted the game then redownloaded it and after that this problem never apeared again

Some people forget to extract the game and play it while it's still in archive. The way that works under the hood is it extracts to a temporary folder that disappears once you close the game. Saves are stored in there, so they also disappear.
