Specialisation Points in Compliance Mode

Am I correct that there is no use for specialisation points when playing in Compliance Mode? There doesn't seem to be anywhere to do anything with them.

I've really enjoyed the game so far, though I have to admit that the medication mechanic has made the game frustrating as hell - there's nothing more annoying opening the game to check on progress only to spend the next 10-15 minutes tediously going through clearing 2-3 Medication from on 7 of 9 locations across every single host... it's really killed the game flow for me. It also begs the question why a 10/10 Identity host would take medication - especially the first host that the game specifically notes likes their transformation.

Specialization points are for starting a new game. Just press „new“ in the main menu to see the options. You‘ll get a lot more points upon finishing a full run though.

I agree that the medications need a bit reduction while the game is closed. You can however completely avoid them by not leveling identity. The medications are for all following hosts not depending on the steps of the current one. Humanity is fighting back against that.

I'm out I'm afraid - I went to work for the day and when I came home to check my progress, every single host had 5-6 medication stars on every single location. By the time I cleared every host, the first hosts I cleared already had 2-3 locations with medication again. It's completely killed the game loop for me. I enjoy the Identity part as a part of my kink too, so it's a shame that this mechanic is punished in such a way.

It was fun while it lasted.

yes, this mechanic will be reduced with the next patch.

the patch that reduces the medication effects is out now for windows.
